It was our third annual Earth Day celebration in the Library. We hosted the Earth Day Recycled Art Day Contest, and Book Swap. We encourage two things on Earth Day in the library- reading, of course, and the concept of reusing, reducing, and recycling. Instead of throwing out a book, we allowed children to swap up. We set a new record when a whopping 499 were swapped! We had almost 30 entries for our Recycled Art Contest as well.Keep it green, Eagles, and as always, keep reading!
